ASPP - Person in Charge of Prevention and Protection Service

Operational support for field safety and compliance management on construction and infrastructure sites

As a Person in Charge of Prevention and Protection Service (ASPP), you will work directly supporting the Responsible Person (RSPP) and collaborate with all business functions – management, technical office, human resources office, and site managers. Your goal will be to ensure the correct application of health and safety policies and the development of effective operational procedures on construction sites and in business activities.

The position requires proactivity, analytical skills, and a strong operational orientation. We are looking for a prepared, motivated person with initiative, capable of moving with good autonomy on construction sites, tackling complex situations in the field, and proposing practical solutions to continuously improve corporate safety standards.

Responsibility

  • Support to the RSPP in the daily management of the corporate Prevention and Protection Service
  • Assist in the drafting, updating, and management of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR) and the related technical documentation
  • Develop and update POS (Operational Safety Plans), safety operational procedures, and specific prevention plans for construction sites
  • Carry out periodic inspections at construction sites and field checks to ensure the application of safety measures and the correct use of PPE
  • Collaborate with supervisors, site managers, and management in the operational management of safety
  • Support the planning and delivery of training and information for workers
  • Collaborate in the management of procedures related to accidents, near misses (almost incidents) and corrective actions
  • Provide technical support in compliance with public works and the qualification of companies

Required

  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's (three-year or master's) or High school diploma
  • Possession of the requirements for the role of ASPP as per Legislative Decree 81/2008
  • Complete training and valid certificates for Module A and Module B (preferably specialization in SP3 - Construction/Extraction)
  • Previous experience in the construction and/or infrastructure site sector
  • Solid knowledge of safety procedures in temporary and mobile sites (Title IV of Legislative Decree 81/08)
  • Ability to independently draft technical site documentation (POS, PSS, procedures)
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving orientation operational and teamwork attitude

Appreciated

  • Experience in complex infrastructure construction sites (roads, bridges, large public works)
  • Knowledge or experience with safety management systems ISO 45001
  • Experience with Google AdWords
  • Familiarity with safety management in public procurement
